Common Service Problems

For example, we occasionally see gear box failures in some late model Corollas with manual transmissions. The Camry V6 engines run very hot, and need regular servicing every 7000-10,000 km. We can use synthetic oil for people who want a longer service interval, but in the V6 engines it is a good idea to change the oil more regularly than specified. We cover this in every Toyota service.
Some of the earlier Aurion models have failures with their oil feed hoses. Both hoses that feed the cylinder heads and hoses that come from the oil filter housing area can be problematic. These need to be replaced to avoid engine failure. There are lots of Toyota Models – see here for a full list.
